Analytics dashboard

The analytics dashboard provides a high-level overview of your survey's performance. Track views, starts, completions, and drop-off rates to understand how respondents engage with your form and where you may be losing them.

Where to find it

Dashboard → click on a survey → 'Results' tab. Or go to Dashboard → click 'View analytics' on a survey card.

Key metrics

  • Total views — Number of times the survey link was loaded, including repeat visits.
  • Total starts — Respondents who began answering at least one question.
  • Completion rate — Percentage of starts that resulted in a submission. Low completion rates may indicate questions that are too difficult, confusing, or too long.
  • Average time to complete — Median time respondents spent filling out the survey, excluding outliers who left the tab open.
  • Drop-off points — Identifies the specific question or section where respondents most frequently abandon the survey, helping you optimize problem areas.

Question breakdowns

Below the summary metrics, the analytics dashboard provides per-question breakdowns. See how many respondents answered each question, the distribution of answers for choice questions, and average ratings for scale questions. Open-ended text responses show word clouds and sentiment summaries (on Pro and above).

Trends over time

View daily, weekly, or monthly response trends with the time-series chart. This helps you measure the impact of promotional campaigns, email blasts, or social media posts on response volume. You can compare multiple survey versions side by side.
