Publish a survey
Publishing makes your survey live and accessible to respondents. Before you can publish, SwiftSurvey verifies that your survey meets basic requirements so respondents have a smooth experience.
Where to find it
Open your survey in the builder → click the green 'Publish' button in the top toolbar.

Publishing requirements
A survey must contain at least one question before it can be published. The builder will highlight any issues that need attention, such as missing labels on logic conditions or broken section references. You do not need a verified email to publish, but it is recommended so respondents can reach you.
How to publish
In the survey builder, click the Publish button in the top toolbar. Review the summary dialog that confirms your survey's title, question count, and settings. Click Publish now to make the survey immediately live, or use the scheduler to set a future publication date. Once published, the survey moves to the "Published" state and a unique shareable link is generated.
Unpublishing
You can unpublish a survey at any time from the survey settings or the dashboard. Unpublishing stops collection of new responses immediately but preserves all existing response data. Re-publishing restores the same share link so previously distributed URLs continue to work.
Published status
The survey dashboard shows the current status of each survey: Draft (not published), Published (actively collecting responses), or Closed (unpublished or response limit reached). You can also close a survey manually from the settings panel to stop responses without fully unpublishing.
