Logic & branching
Build smart, adaptive surveys that respond to each respondent. Logic rules let you show, hide, or skip content based on previous answers — creating a personalized experience without overwhelming anyone with irrelevant questions.

Conditional visibility
Control when questions and sections appear using if-then conditions. Rules can evaluate any previous answer in the survey — from simple equality checks ("Show this question if answer equals 'Yes'") to complex combinations with AND/OR operators.
Supported conditions
- Equals / Does not equal — exact match on choice questions
- Contains — partial match on text or multi-select answers
- Greater than / Less than — comparison on number or scale answers
- Is answered / Is not answered — check if any answer was provided
Skip logic (branching)
Route respondents to different sections or to the end of the survey. Use skip logic for:
- Qualifying questions — ineligible respondents skip to disqualification
- Personalized paths — different sections for different segments
- Early exits — satisfied customers skip to thank-you, unhappy ones get follow-ups
